I am getting some awesome reports of what’s happening at camp. Â Last night the students hit up 1 Cor. 16:13.
Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong
They also read out of 1 Peter and talked about the silence of God as to why it may be happening (so that we may listen and avoid distraction). Â The students are responding to worship in a expressive way…lifting their hands and singing loudly.
During family group time, the leaders prayed over the students…for walls to come down.
Today the students are taking on WATER DAY. Â Imagine being sprayed with a water hose….you pretty much get wet. Â Their entire outside recreation time will involve water. Â They will be SOAKING wet! Â There is no dry place for shelter….ahh…the joys of summer camp. Â Continue that the Lord would move in the hearts of our students and adults during the evening worship service. Â Remember, you can always send students/adults an encouraging email or listen/watch the live teaching/worship by following THIS LINKÂ (click to open).
I am so thankful for the adult leadership we have on this trip. Â I am also thankful that you (the parents) are trusting your gifts to us for a week. Â They will come back changed….God will move in their lives in a mighty way.
I have been emailing my daughter, daughter Jacqueline but, wasn’t sure exactly how to thank ALL of our awesome leaders who attended this trip, so want to thank them now!! We are so very thankful for our wonderful leaders who have gave this time to our Southbrook Students. We thank all of you! May God Bless you all!
