Averi serves in the children’s ministry and is idolized by our two daughters. Â She recently went to New Hampshire…here is her story.
When deciding wether to go to New Hampshire or not, it originally wasn’t going to work out. I prayed long and hard and after awhile a door opened for me to go.
While we were serving with Riverbank Church in Brattleboro, VT, you could almost instantly tell that it was a spiritually dark city and they needed Jesus’ light. When you smiled at someone walking past, you didn’t get that in return. When you waved, same thing… no response. So it defiantly was very different than in the South. My heart just breaks for the people of Brattleboro. It hurts that they don’t know Jesus. I’m so thankful I got the opportunity to go on this mission trip and partner with Riverbank to share God’s word to the people that are all so lost up there. I’ve made so many great friends and memories that will last for a lifetime! I can’t wait to go back next year!
