Saying God is in control and actually believing that He is in control are two different things.  I think I say what I want to truly believe…but often times my actions don’t show it.  This devotion opened up the thought of just how little control you and I actually have.  No matter how much we try to control our situation…it is out of our control.  I like this…and I dislike this.  I like it because as a follower of Christ it is good to know that God has got this.  I dislike this because I don’t really get to say what happens.

This Christmas season, sit back and observe how you handle situations.  Do you follow God’s lead or do you tell God to follow you?  One is a futile exercise in control…the other puts us right in the middle of God’s will
