In four days, our second campus will launch.  For the most part all of the technical issues have been resolved.  Last week was our in house launch.  Everything went smoothly.  We are working out a few transition details but other than that I believe the team is satisfied with the end product.  Tomorrow we will have a batch of scrim delivered.  This scrim will be installed at our SLW campus to enhance the background lighting.  The end product should provide a video atmosphere that provides depth and a nice clean background.  I use to wonder why churches went to extremes to control their lighting environment.  Being on the other side of the video fence I clearly see why.  I am pleased with our end product.  Is it perfect?…no…but it’s affordable and it’s workable.

My next challenge is to get our team up to speed with training on the new equipment.  After that I will spending some time developing ideas for an online campus…something I am both excited and scared about.  Just thinking of the potential to share the love of Christ with others is awesome….connecting the technical dots will be ‘interesting’.
