We are in the midst of a revival within our student ministry.  It started this summer and has continued into the fall.  To be part of something like this is phenomenal.  Seeing students get saved never gets old.  Our students are being THE CHURCH to our community and to their schools.  They are inviting their friends, allowing God to speak to them through consistent devotion and prayer, and as a result they are changing this world.

I personally am blessed because God has assembled the best team of adult and student leaders ever!  Seriously, I would charge any hill with this team.  They are gifted, passionate, and understand that each breath of air we take in on this planet gives us another opportunity to make Jesus famous.

Over the past four weeks we have seen an increase in our attendance…started with 71, went to 91, then to 99, and finally last night we hit 105 students.  I share these with you because I am elated that our students are inviting their friends.  Each number represents a precious individual that God loves deeply.  You better believe we care about each student that comes to the Awaken Experience.  We have just about packed out our tiny student room.  The good news is that we have room to add more students…once we hit 130-140 we will have to discus other options.  My prayer is that the Awaken Experience would become a place where hope in Christ is prevalent and where students can come with their baggage and leave knowing they are part of the family of God…where grace abounds.
