In two weeks we will depart to begin the next chapter in our lives.  The past five years have been some of the most encouraging, challenging, and fruitful times in my life.  Looking back I have made some incredible friends, co-ministered with some of the best folks on the plant, learned a ton about being THE church and consumed a plethora of tacos.  We have so many fond memories of our time in North Carolina.  We will miss our church family and our friends.  Just know that just as we are sad that we have to go, we are equally sure and certain of God’s call on our lives.

Looking ahead, we know God is sending us down to plant Awaken City Church with an incredible team (click to see).  I have been blown away by how God has orchestrated everything.  We can’t wait to begin getting to know our community, our neighbors, and the city where God has called us.  We know God has called us to step out in faith.  He never said it would be easy, but He has promised to go with us.

Steps of faith are never easy.  I feel like the vision God has given us is clear, HUGE, and NOT doable apart from Him.  I pray that as we step out in faith, that our fears turn into courage, that our anxiety turns into assurance, and our walk with the Lord grows deeper and more meaningful.  We are so honored to know that we have so many friends and families praying for and supporting us.  I want to encourage  you to continue supporting us with prayer.  Our team treasures your prayers.
