We were blessed this weekend to be able to bring in a wonderful worship artist.  I have a heart for music and God’s Word and this weekend we had a real treat.  Evan Wickham (evanwickham.com) came to Calvary Chapel Port St. Lucie.  This is our second time to bring in an outside artist and Evan did not dissapoint.  It was quite refreshing to have a wonderful Godly man be able to lead worship and to also passionately bring the Word of God to our congregation.  No doubt many people were blessed with this past weekend by his authenticity and love of people.  It excites me to see many ‘hybrid’ type of worship leaders developing.  There is nothing more passionate than an artist who’s in love with Christ…it shows in their work and their lives.  Evan taught on Jesus= Grace + Truth…the message can be found on VIMEO.  We DID NOT record his music for obvious reasons…you can check out his music on his home page and itunes.  I would highly recommend allowing Evan to be a part of a special night for your congregation…as I am fairly certain he will be invited back in the near future.
