Stop #2: Our second stop on our visit down South last week was with Pastor Teddy and his wife Alexandra (Alex) of Calvary Compassion Church. Pastor Teddy was on staff at Calvary Port St. Lucie

with me for several years prior to my time at Southbrook back in 2010.  Pastor Teddy planted Calvary Compassion Church in 2011 in Fort Pierce Florida.  Fort Pierce is 20 minutes north of Port St. Lucie and is a very different city.  Pastor Teddy is doing an incredible work in the city that God has called him to.

Kelli and I got to spend some time with Pastor Teddy and Alex.  They are a great couple.  Although we have not seen them in years, our relationship picked up where it left off.  I am so encouraged to see how God is using this couple, their team, and the local church to make a difference in Fort Pierce.  Fort Pierce is a great city, but has several challenges related to social and economic issues.  I am so excited to see of what God is doing through this church.  They are connected with the community and other churches in their area.  This has allowed them to make a huge impact for Christ!
