Today was the pinnacle or the Alp Du Huez of Kelli’s time away. The morning started early and inlcuded me getting the kids up to church (both clothed and fed) at 6:45am. From there we went to our TCHS campus where I finished out my day. I got them home around 1:15pm for a late lunch. Now before you ask, I did feed them between 6:45 am and 1:15 pm….in fact I fed them three times :). We kind of chilled out today, I took them to get Thai food for dinner and had them help me clean the house up. I also spent some time playing the guitar for them…I call it all request hour…the girls call it ‘try to get dad to sing Celtic Woman songs’. In either case we had a great time. I’m a bit tired but most Sundays do take a lot out of me and the family….is it worth it…you bet…when people come to know the Lord it’s like shot of energy.
So what shall I do in the next few hours…research burst training, brush up on photoshop skill’s…continue a short study in Philippians chapter 4, read a book, play a game?…their are endless options. I was considering writing a post about various music artist that I have liked over the years…some may surprise you :)…I could at least start the draft on that post.
Tomorrow Kelli will arrive to a Sunny and very HOT Florida….the kids as well as I am looking forward to having mom and Mr. Doo Doo back home. BTW I did let Colty play with some balloons today…it was intense…in fact he is sleeping with one as I type this out :).
