Packing up

In one week we will depart from Port St. Lucie and begin our trek north to our new home, new ministry and more importantly new chapter in life.  Who knew the word ‘go’ (two letters) spoken to our hearts by the spirit could amount to this?  It’s been an exciting adventure thus far.  Packing is awesome…in fact I kind of like it.  I’m a ‘pitcher’…so I have found that more fatigued I feel the less important things become.  I find myself asking questions like ‘what is the eternal significance of ______’ (toy cars, pans, markers, hats…).  Kelli is a ‘keeper’…so she has the keep it all attitude.  God made a great match with us!  On Friday our 28 ft moving trailer will be dropped off….I presume in front of our home and not down the street.   Saturday we will have a truck packing party from 5-7pm (if you are not busy…stop by 🙂 )….we will be packed up and sleeping on air beds for a few nights.  The kids are ready for the adventure….they are asking everyday to see pictures of their new church (Children’s ministry), new home, and of course the Cabin we are going to have for a few nights at Fort Wilderness.

Please continue to pray for us…safety, endurance, and refreshing as a family as we prepare for an exciting ministry at Southbrook Church.
