What’s Happening #3

Ahhh…spring break is here…excitement is in the air.  The end of the school year draws closer…and so does the busiest time of the student ministry year.

We just completed a Middle School camp in…that’s right camp in.  Our camp out plans changed when we the weather did not cooperate.  We had a great time.  Played a massive game of capture the flag, burned things, launched granola bars with a launcher, had a great time of devotion…and of course many other things.  I was blown away by the dedication and servants hearts that our adult and high school leaders exhibited.  I am truly blessed to serve along side of them.

If my count is correct, then I had mexican food three times in one day.   Not saying that’s a bad thing…just find it a bit of an interesting side note.

Another interesting side note…I am not certain of the whole debate on if a dog’s mouth is cleaner than a humans but I do know that the following picture is not what I want see when returning from the restroom…and yes the poor student who sat back down shared spit :).

Tomorrow is going to be awesome.  Our lesson will tie in nicely Palm Sunday….I am excited!

Our high school will take a look at Revelation 1:4-20.  We have a lot to tackle…should be awesome.  I’ve been calling our high school sunday nights ‘Java and Jesus’.  I have encouraged the students to bring their coffee mugs.

In a week or so I am going to announce our finalized summer tour plans…excited about them.  Looking forward to God doing a great work in out students this summer.  Continue to lift this ministry up in prayers…it is much appreciated!
