Like most parents my wife and I spend a bit of time with our kids reading stories at night before bed time.  Not that I have anything against the Disney Princess stories…or simplified children’s Bible, in fact I think they are great.  I just wanted to explore and idea with our girls.  I decided to utilize our creativity and make our own story up.  Not sure where this story will end up I will present to you the cast of Characters and the development of the story thus far.

Cast of Characters:
Princess Oompa Loompa – Princess of the magical land our story is based in
John- Princess Oompa Loompa’s personal royal horse
Stinky- Royal horse and friend of John
Ollie- A fairy ogre who is of course green and can fly.

In addition to these characters, my daughters are also in the stories as themselves.

So we began by introducing the characters in their natural setting.  There was a royal castle and rolling hill’s.  We are a little over a week into the story and our story has progressed tot he point of our daughters meeting up with Princess Oompa Loompa, John and Stinky.  They began an adventure to see a lone tree on top of the highest hill in the land.  This is where they met Ollie.  Ollie sprinkled pixie dust (had to include that…my daughters suggested it) on the crew and they were transported to Fort Wilderness at Walt Disney World.  They spent an evening at the family campfire where they met a few of the Disney characters.  The next morning they took a boat over to the Magic Kingdom and spent the day riding ‘It’s A  Small World’.  After that they headed over to a shop where magic pixie dust fell on them….when they opened their eyes they …well that’s where we are at.  Tonight the girls get to see where they are at :).
