Day 5:
We handed out 10 cases of water today. Â Most of our time was spent in Hanover at Darmouth Green. Â It was awesome to see the students say ‘here you go’ to strangers and hand them bottled water. Â This simple act has significance, for you see no one gives anything away for free up here. Â A simple bottle of water with church info on it is an awesome idea and puts the churches serving foot forward.
In addition to handing water out we also held signs at a few locations. Â Sure some people yelled at us but that only mean that they read the sign :).
We came back to our camp after we were done and talked through ideas we have for our own community. Â All I have to say is that we want to reach the 6,000 HS students who are in our area…we have a few good ideas that we are about to launch!
