Day one of our trip to Haiti has brought us an early morning. We made our way to the famed Miami airport around 8 am. Upon landing we all a found breakfast.

Our two hour layover quickly passed with each others company. We boarded one more airplane around 10:30 am and landed in Haiti around 12:20pm. We spent some time collecting our bags (minus one…did not show up)…and eventually cleared customs and made our way out of the airport. The streets came alive as we were passed by brave motorcyclist and dodged pedestrians. We quickly made our way to Pastor Renes home and began to prepare for the rest Of our trip. The students did amazing and this adult leaders were awesome. God has some big plans for us in Haiti. Please continue to pray for us. Tomorrow we head to church and then to the beach.
