The first thing you need to know and always remember about Haiti is that things change. Today instead of doing our normal VBS program, we went to an orphanage, sanded walls, painted walls, gave shoes out, and painted faces. It was like a mini VBS with a small stint of physical labor.
After seeing these students paint, I am confident that I will never ask any of them to help me paint :). I don’t have to tell you the color , all you need to do is look at the pictures. The students did really well today. All of them are staying hydrated and are really knocking it out of the park…I am so proud of them. We had two special treats today…coconut milk and a coke on the way home.
